Week #1 Liver Gallbladder Detox

OVERVIEW:

This week we will start with a mini liver and gallbladder cleanse. We will be using liver supportive detoxifying herbs Milk Thistle and/or Dandelion Root.


We will be removing eggs, nuts, seeds & dairy and adding 3-4 organic Granny Smith Apples per day for 7 days


We will be doing daily Olive Oil and Lemon Juice Cleanser every morning upon rising and either making a home-made green vegetable shake or using reconstituted green vegetables to make a twice daily green vegetable shake.


“Choose a Good Quality Olive Oil. Most Olive oils out of California are not adulterated and therefor are good choices. California Olive Ranch is a fair priced brand with good distribution throughout the country. Regardless, you are looking for olive oil that "tickles" the back of your throat a bit. This is a good indicator of the medicinal qualities we are looking for."

What You Will Need

  • A Good Qualtiy Olive Oil

  • Fresh Lemons 4-5 (1/2 of a lemon is about 1 Tablespoon Lemon Juic)

  • Granny Smith Apples 21 - 28 Organic

  • Quality Milk Thistle or Dandelion Herbs: Gaia Herbs, HerbPharm, Now Foods, Herbalist and Alchemists

  • Green Vegetables for daily Vegetable Drink (Garden of Life's Perfect Food - use this if you do not have allergies to grass;


Upon Rising


Take 1 Tablespoon of Olive Oil and chase it with 1 Tablespoon of a fresh Squeezed Lemon (let 30 minutes pass before consuming your breakfast).


Daily Meal Plan Template:


Breakfast

1 scoop of Garden of Life Perfect Food in 6 – 8 oz Pomegranate juice.

Salmon cakes and vegetables (See suggested Recipes)

AM Snack

1 ORGANIC Granny Smith Apple (be sure to eat the seeds out of your apples)


Lunch

Grilled Chicken on Mixed Greens with roasted root veggies (See suggested Recipes)


PM Snack

1 ORGANIC Granny Smith Apple (be sure to eat the seeds out of your apples)


Dinner

Ground beef in lettuce wrap with hot and sweet pepper with oven roasted juillienned sweet potato crisps


HS Snack

Optional - 1 scoop Garden of Life Green Perfect Food with 6-8 oz pomegranate juice and 1 granny smith apple
